Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This is an intern position that will provide systems application support to our channel partners, consultants, Reps and prospective users within the Systems Business Unit. Primary duties are first-response customer phone support and basic software/hardware troubleshooting. This position requires broad skills and knowledge of QSC's Systems products, including Q-SYS Level 1 certification. The successful candidate must be able to work professionally with all levels of employees and interface well with external professionals, distributors, Reps and dealers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- IT networking experience and AV experience and a passion to learn are highly desirable
- Experience with AutoCAD and Customer Requirement Management (CRM) software, like Salesforce, are highly desirable
- Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PPT)
- Strong collaboration skills with Tier 2 Team, Customer Service Team and cross functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting specific deadlines
- Good written, verbal & presentation skills
- Creative, motivated, reliable, quick learner and possess a natural curiosity with network based products
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide first-response phone Application Support on network products
- Create ticket in Salesforce to track escalated cases for software and hardware issues
- Deliver basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of network systems and Q-SYS products. Basic technical support topics include the below:
o Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) signal flow and gain structure
o Support of license products
o Gain structure basic setup and diagnostics
o Support of Q-SYS networking best-practice and troubleshooting
o Basic audio, video and Q-SYS Control support
- Deliver call-handling best-practices in a call-center environment
- Support special projects as assigned
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience to enforce QSC's strong brand presence in the Systems market
